Missions
We don't exist for ourselves. The blessings we receive from God are never meant to terminate with us. Therefore at CTK, we want to be generous with what we have been given. That means, we actively and aggressively look for ways to give away the people, knowledge, skills, and resources we have for the sake of others.
One of the ways we do that is through our involvement in missions. Missions at CTK is broadly understood as those ministries which serve to advance the Kingdom of God and declare and demonstrate the good news about King Jesus through various biblical means in our local community, surrounding regions, and to the ends of the earth.
We believe that God's primary appointed means for advancing his kingdom is the church. We desire to see healthy churches planted globally. More specifically we believe that churches ultimately thrive and grow best when they are under trained indigenous leadership.
Therefore, CTK primarily supports those missions efforts that either start or assist new churches that are either lead or will be lead by leaders indigenous to that area.
Specific areas of interest for CTK right now are efforts in East Asia and churches planted by men who are members of the Acts 29 Network.
